A second generation designed by and for the field. 

The LAB-NVS® Mk2 (Light Articulated Binocular – Night Vision System) is the upgraded version of our articulated night vision binocular. Developed based on two years of feedback from civilian and military users, it further optimizes the balance between lightweight design, ruggedness, modularity, and operational performance.

Compatible with 18mm image intensifier tubes and standard PVS-14 optics (such as the Mk1), the LAB-NVS® Mk2 now supports 16mm tubes, FAT ANVIS, and ANVIS optics—offering maximum versatility.

These figures place the LAB-NVS® Mk2 among the lightest articulated binocular systems available today—without any compromise on durability.

Mechanical rigidity is ensured by a combination of high-performance materials: PA11 polyamide (MJF printing) and marine-grade stainless steel. The housing meets the IP68 rating and exceeds MIL-STD-810H drop test requirements.

Mk2 ergonomics & innovations: every detail counts

Independent articulated architecture

Each pod can be flipped up independently, allowing for monocular vision, maintaining natural vision on one side, or reducing bulk when inside a vehicle. An automatic shut-off system activates as soon as a pod is flipped up, protecting the tubes and preserving battery life.

The interpupillary distance is adjusted directly on the bridge in just a few seconds. Two integrated half-moon mechanisms mechanically memorize the setting: each time the pod is lifted, the optics instantly return to their individual alignment. No tools, no wasted time.

Order reviewed at a minimum

The single push-button, positioned between the eyebrows, has been refined for greater precision. It remains operable while wearing thick gloves and ensures immediate activation, even in adverse conditions.  

New axles: lighter, stronger, more precise.

The axle system has been redesigned. Improved friction adjustment, tighter mechanical tolerances, and increased durability—without adding weight.

AA/LR6 power supply: resilience above all

The AA battery is universal, inexpensive and available all over the world. The LAB-NVS® Mk2 guarantees 25 hours of battery life on a single battery — operational freedom that the CR123 cannot offer.
