Can an LNVM be converted into an LAB-NVS later? 

Strictly speaking, no. They are two different housing architectures. However, if you already own an NNVT tube or functional optics, transferring them to either Silicate housing is included at no extra cost. 

While it is not possible to convert the LNVM into a LAB-NVS, bridging is a viable option. This involves joining two LNVM monoculars using a specially designed mount. Furthermore, an LNVM monocular can be bridged with a thermal monocular to gain the benefits of both night vision and thermal imaging.

Is the LAB-NVS compatible with PVS-14 and ANVIS optics?​ 

Yes, but that is a choice that must be made at the time of purchase. The LAB-NVS MK2 is available in several optics and tube configurations: 16mm and 18mm tubes, FAT ANVIS, as well as PVS-14 and ANVIS optics.

What is the difference in comfort over the long term? 

The monocular vision of the LNVM can cause slight asymmetric fatigue during very long sessions, as only one eye is working. The LAB-NVS, with its binocular vision, distributes the visual effort and reduces this fatigue—a factor to consider if you wear the device for several hours at a time.
